Shepard Fairey Project

I designed my own Shepard Fairey research page to gain an understanding on his background, techniques and inspiration. This was so we can collect ideas on his designs for when we created our physical and digital response.
I then collected Shepard Fairey's most famous pieces and created a moodboard for further ideas and inspiration.
This is my physical A3 artist response on Shepard Fairey. As you can see, I used a limited colour palette and used a street art effect with the splattered white paint. I built up many layers onto my design and used acrylic paint just as Fairey would.

This is my A3 digital response based on Shepard Fairey once again following his techniques and skills to design this. I took inspiration from his iconic 'hope' poster using the same effects and principles of design.
I then designed 3 digital mockups for an idea visually what they would look like on the market. Doing this has helped me understand how and if my project would work in real life.
The same goes with my physical mockups but with this type it shows what it could look like on a shelf and in the real world.
Finally, we designed our tin packaging using fairies techniques and skills. I made sure to keep in Fairey's look and affect and took inspiration from my research to create it.
